Here at T3DT we have tried to keep our Terms and Conditions as clear and brief as possible, and give you as much information we can to guide you when making online transactions on our website or buying products from us, so that you completely understand the whole process, from order to delivery and beyond.
It’s really important to us that your online shopping experience at T3DT is easy to understand and our products meet with your expectations, so please spend a few minutes and read our terms in full.
Please note that these terms (including prices, charges for services, availability, delivery times and returns policies) apply to purchases made either online or via personal contact and ordering or buying directly from us by any other means unless changes are specified by us in writing to you.
Firstly, don’t panic if you make any mistakes during the process of ordering.
You can correct any details or errors right up until you confirm payment by editing your items in the checkout basket.
All online payments are made via the security of Paypal where your payment will be verified and authorized securely as part of their services.
Once you’re happy everything is correct and you have successfully submitted and paid for an order you will be sent an invoice & confirmation of payment with a reference number by email which forms your order confirmation. If paying via Paypal you should also receive an email from them verifying successful payment.
In the case of incorrect orders, inaccurate information on the site (e.g. the price, description or availability of a product you have ordered) or there is need to change or alter an order after it has been paid for we may have to cancel your initial order in which case you will receive a full refund. You will need to contact us prior to the order being dispatched or the return the goods if already dispatched and delivered.
Prices & payments
Being a UK based business as you would expect all our prices are in UK pounds.
The total cost of your order will be the price of the products you order, the delivery charge (if any), or any additional services you may choose. You’ll see all these in your Checkout Basket before you submit and pay for your order. Payment is deducted once an order is submitted, verified and approved by Paypal.
All orders will be subject to credit & fraudulent checks via an accredited identity verification partner. This will help to protect you and us from fraudulent activities. If we identify a transaction as being potentially fraudulent we may ask our courier to return the goods to us, in which case we may cancel your order even though you will have received an order confirmation invoice.
Restrictions – age limits
Some of our products may have a minimum age requirement or recommendation, and by ordering you are confirming that you or the person you are buying a product for is of the required age.
Delivery and installation services
Once your order has been recieved by us and processed you will receive a further email to confirm expected dispatch and delivery as some of our products may be made to order.
Products that are ready to ship e.g. flat pack DIY kits or electrical or mechanical components will be dispatched within a 24-48 hour period during the working week Mon-Fri. Should this not be possible we will contact you to advise you of the expected dispatch & delivery date/time.
More complex and customised components or products will be dispatched within the advisory dispatch period stated with the product at the time of order or as advised by us which should be between 2-4 weeks at most.
Should there be any delay in dispatch or delivery we will contact you to agree a suitable date and arrangement for dispatch & delivery.
Services provided will be subject to agreement between you and us as to when is best to provide these. In this case we will contact you within 24 hours during the working week to make the necessary arrangements.
Missing, damaged or incorrect orders
T3DT will do everything possible to ensure your order arrives at your door in a complete and in pristine condition.
If you do not receive all your products at once or items are missing, damaged or faulty please contact us immediately on 01606 212078 so that we can assist you in rectifying the matter.
Returns/cancellations and after sales policy
If for whatever reason you change your mind and would like to return your order after delivery, we’re happy to refund or exchange your purchase as long as it’s unopened, unused and in its original packaging.
This option is available for 21 days after delivery.
Following The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, we will accept items back even if you have opened the goods to inspect them.
You are entitled to a refund as long as you inform us of your decision to cancel within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery of the goods.
The goods must be in an ‘as new’ condition and returned in the original, undamaged packaging, along with any accessories and free gifts received with them.
You can examine the goods as you would in a shop but you must not have used or installed them or input any data on them. Whilst the goods are in your possession you must take reasonable care of them as per the guidelines issued with your product or as advised by us in person.
Storage devices such as memory cards and software packaging must still be sealed. However if any of these fail to work within 14 days of delivery please contact us immediately and we will be happy to replace them.
Requesting a refund
A refund/cancel your purchase can be initiated in the following ways:
1. You can return the product to us directly with your invoice or proof of purchase
2. You can cancel your order via your online account or request us to do so by phone or email
3. Request a refund via Paypal which will be subject to its claims procedures and we will require the safe return of the product in good condition by post or returned by courier
4. By phoning us on 01606 212078 or using our online contact form on this website
You will be requested to provide an order reference or invoice number with delivery details so please have this to hand when contacting us. Upon contacting us you will be provided with details on how best to return the product to us.
Once we have received the goods back from you, we will give you a refund for the cost of the product plus the delivery charge paid (except for the additional costs arising if you selected a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the refund for any loss in value of the goods if the loss is a result of any unnecessary handling by you.
If you have requested we provide the performance of any service, such as installation of a product, within the 14 day cancellation period we have the right to retain any charge paid for services or additional expenses incurred on our part which have already begun or been completed.
Refunds may take 3-5 working days to be credited to your payment card.
Situations where we cannot refund/cancel your purchase:
- If you return or arrange collection of your product or request a refund without proof of purchase i.e. an invoice.
- There is a contract for services with the product and you have started using the services; this would include, for example, installation & setup, maintenance and repair
- The seal has been broken or used such as storage, mechanical or electrical components e.g. SD or memory cards or software
- The goods were a special order or uniquely built to your specification
- Your return/refund period has expired as detailed above i.e. either 21 or 14 days after delivery.
It’s bad enough that your product develops a fault, so we try to make our returns or repair service as painless as possible. You always have the option of an exchange or refund if the fault occurs within 21 days of delivery.
If the fault with your product occurs within its guarantee period (normally 12 months from delivery) we will offer you a prompt repair service. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault.
For a refund or exchange, the product must be in otherwise ”as new” condition, complete with any accessories and free gifts offered and if possible, with the original box and packaging.
Any customization or alterations to the original design of the product, unless carried out by our team of engineers, will mean a claim for refund null and void as our products have been specifically designed and built to work within specific parameters to give the best results, modifications to the original design would alter its performance and future usability and fitness for purpose.
If a memory card or software item is faulty under guarantee we will happily exchange it for the same, better or offer a refund.
Refunds for faulty goods include the applicable delivery charge and you will not be charged for personal collection or dropping off.
Replacement goods are sent by standard delivery. If a fault occurs while you are abroad, please contact us to discuss how we can assist.
We do not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse, customisations or normal wear and tear.
Consumable items such as print materials such as printable plastic are covered by guarantee for 3 months after delivery provided they have not been used to any great extent i.e. if a fault has been discovered at the start of the use of the material and the material has been stored according to manufacturers guidelines. This will be checked by examining and weighing the product to determine the handling and usage and if more than 10% has been used it will constitute it as extensively used.
Items sold on this website are generally intended for normal domestic and consumer use and not for resale or commercial use. Our guarantees, warrantees or refunds do not extend past the initial purchaser of a product.
If we arrange to collect goods from you it will be at our cost.
Evaluation of products for refunds, repairs and maintenance will be carried out by skilled and qualified engineers.

Any other use or reproduction of the material or content is strictly prohibited unless authorised by T3DT in writing.
You may not create any link to this website without our prior written consent, nor may you restrict or inhibit the use or enjoyment of it by anyone else.
These terms and conditions, and all transactions relating to this website and all non-contractual obligations arising from any transaction carried out on this website are governed by English law and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. We do not accept amendments to these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions only cover the T3DT website. Any other websites to which you link from this site are governed by their own terms and conditions. We accept no responsibility or liability for the content or operation of websites which are not under our control. We are required by law to tell you that sales can be concluded in English only and that no public filing requirements apply. We acknowledge we have a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with a contract.
